So, on our last night in Bordeaux we decided to check out this place: L'Entrecote
Mr Mae said that there were queues out the door of this place the last time he was there so we thought "Hey, it's gotta be good!"
On this night we struck gold as France were playing Switzerland in the World Cup so there were no queues!
I made the faux pas of asking for a menu once we were in there...the waitress giggled and gave me the drink menu and said "We only do one thing here, madame!"
Yes, a restaurant that only does ONE dish folks but what a dish is is....thinly sliced sirloin steak, a token salad and a literal never ending pile of pommes frites!! T'was a-m-a-z-i-n-g....

It's a secret Steamy! They say it is garlic, shallots and wine but really it could be anything....oh and butter....LOTS of butter!
