Bordeaux....gorgeous town and very famous for its wine....we wanted to go on a tour of a couple of the chateaus but time did not permit and it was really hot.
The best thing was we landed just when a 2 week period started called L'Epicure where they set up all these bars and eating places in the square in the middle of town. It was fabulous to be able to walk through and sample different wines and local delicacies. The best one had duck rillettes and a great charcuterie plate...def not great for the waistline but wonderful for the tastebuds!
